  Revision of SMS tariff by TRAI in its Telecom Tariff (Fifty Fourth Amendment) Order, 2012
a) Upto one hundred SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan/STV subscribed by the customer;
b)beyond 100 SMS per SIM per day, the SMS charges will be as per the plan or 50 paise per SMS which ever is more.
c)For the customers who have subscribed to any volume based SMS STVs (prepaid)/ SMS pack (postpaid), upto 100 SMS per SIM per day will be free and beyond that the SMS charges will be as per the plan or 50 paise per SMS which ever is more.
Note:
  • On net denotes BSNL network and off net denotes others network.
  • Validity starts from the date of latest recharge.
  • During both the Bonus Periods, no O/G calls shall be allowed except emergency (toll free) & IVR Calls, however I/C will be allowed.
  • The unutilized balance amount of the previous card can be carried forward in case of renewal within the Bonus Period I, other wise it shall lapse.
  • The SIM number can be re-activated with in additional Bonus Period II of 165 days even beyond the Bonus Period I of 15 days for all Card values . However, in such case, the credit balance will lapse but the subscriber will not have to pay activation charges.

Terms & Conditions

A.   Subscribers are allowed to recharge STVs/combo vouchers with minimum recharge of MRP Rs.87 and above during  Active and GP-I  period and make themselves in active status under base plan with validity of the recharged STVs/Combo vouchers for all plans of retail customers”.

B. Subscribers are allowed to recharge minimum recharge of MRP Rs.107 and above during GP-II & beyond GP-II period and make themselves in active status.

 

C.   “The subscriber has to recharge with Plan voucher after every “plan/recharge validity” period or any applicable recharge to avail the benefits under this tariff plan. In case of recharge with applicable STV/Combo voucher, the validity of tariffs plan will be extended corresponding to validity of that STV/Combo voucher. In case of non-recharge with plan voucher or any applicable recharge at the end of validity period, BSNL reserves the right to provide the plan benefits in a curtailed manner during the grace period with GP-I of 7 days and GP-II of 165days. In case this recharge condition is not met, post the grace period, the services will be suspended.”

 

D.   The Voice/SMS benefits under the plan voucher / STV cannot be used for outgoing calls/SMS to premium numbers, IN numbers, International numbers and other chargeable short codes, subscriber will be charged applicable tariffs for the same.  The vouchers are intended only for personal use of included services. BSNL reserves the right to disconnect service immediately in case of misuse/fraudulent use/unauthorized telemarketing and commercial use. Unutilized free benefits will be forfeited at the expiry of current recharge of the plan.
